Aka: Fall and Winter Training Wine, Bone-Strengthening Yao Jiu; the Dong Chun Jiu will nourish and warm the body while improving the circulation of blood and Chi. The formula contains herbs that warm the interior body and is most effective during the colder seasons (it is most effective when used during the fall and winter seasons—late autumn to early spring). It is customary to cure seasonal wines for an entire year. The Dong Chun Jiu, for instance, is made in the fall for consumption the following fall season (the next year).
