Injury Management Elixir aka: Shaolin Strengthen the Sinews and Connect the Bones Elixir
Over the years we have known many misguided martial artists who, as a result of their preoccupation with muscle development, paid little attention to strengthening and developing the supporting structure—ligaments and tendons. The frequency of this oversight is substantiated by the high number of injuries involving sprained, strained, pulled, twisted, and torn ligaments and tendons. These fairly common injuries usually occur during training.
Ligaments—the fibrous tissues that connect bones to bones, undergo two common injuries: minor sprains and tears. Minor sprains are treated with ice to reduce swelling, and then bandaged for support, followed by physical therapy when needed. The more serious torn ligament usually requires surgical repair, after which it is immobilized in a soft cast (to allow proper healing). Like a broken bone, a torn ligament requires 6 to 8 weeks to heal properly.
We have several different formulas at our disposal that will heal this type of injury as well as strengthen the ligaments and tendons to prevent re-occurrence, of the formulas available, we have to admit that Shaolin Shuang Jin Xue Gu Dan is a favorite.
This formula has received nothing but praise by those who use it. What makes this formula so unique is its ability to strengthen the tendons and sinews in addition to promoting expeditious healing when they have been damaged. This is a good formula to use for preventative measures as well as treatment for chronic hard-to-heal injuries.
We also recommend those already injured to increase the amounts of stretching they do, practice Tai Chi Chuan, and of course use our herbal supplements to heal the injury.
This prescription can be used in the raw form to make a decoction, or it may be powdered and used to make pills/capsules or simply added to a smoothie or juice. We prefer the traditional approach of powdering the herbs, then mixing a small amount with wine to escalate healing. (Use for minimum of 60+ days).
If you wish us to powder this formula for you, please check the appropriate box at check-out and there will be a $10.00 powdering fee applied.
We will provide complete step-by-step processing and daily dosage instructions when your order is fulfilled.
Long-term use – approx. 60-90 days is recommended.
